Since starting Mona Vie I have learned to show gratitude in a whole new way. I use to complain about everything. I was basically saying, “This isn’t good enough.” I was always expecting more or better for myself. It took me only a few months to learn to shift my focus more toward other people’s needs and my life has expanded beyond what I had previously thought possible.
I stopped thinking about what I was going to get. I posted a note on the dash of my car that reads, “Get People Healthy” with a smiley face drawn under those words. This reminds me each day to smile and to help others. Notice: It does not say, “Get Rich.” Each time I look at it, I do smile and I laugh a little to myself, because it feels great to set my focus and energy on getting others something they truly need.
I am proud to also be a part of developing and leading a men’s group at our local church. (Which, I must say, the R3Global and MonaVie leadership training has more than prepared me for.) I am extremely grateful to MonaVie for this shift in perspective and this focus on an attitude of gratitude.
Much and Many Thanks!
